These General Terms and Conditions are established between RoyalLux Cleaning Services (referred to as the “Company”, "RoyalLux Cleaning Services" or "Service Provider") and all associated subsidiaries, registered under number 1234567890.. These Terms also govern the relationship with RoyalLux Cleaning Services’ customers, whether private individuals or business clients (collectively referred to as the “Customer"). These Terms take effect as of February 8, 2025, and are accessible on RoyalLux Cleaning Services' official website: www.royalluxcleaning.com.
These Terms outline the conditions under which the service provider delivers products or services, including cleaning services, cleaning products, and associated equipment.
We advise you to read these Terms thoroughly before placing an order with us.
Are you a business customer or a consumer? Certain rights and obligations under these Terms may differ depending on whether you are a consumer or a business customer. You are considered a consumer if: • You are an individual; • You purchase products or services for personal use and not in connection with your business, trade, or profession. For business customers, these Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding your purchase. As a business customer, you confirm that no statements, promises, representations, assurances, or warranties beyond those explicitly set out in these Terms have influenced your decision, and no claim for innocent or negligent misrepresentation can be made based on such statements.
These General Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website www.royalluxcleaning.com, managed by RoyalLux Cleaning Services. Cleaning Professionals operating through the platform provide household cleaning services (hereinafter: SERVICE PROVIDER), while customers utilizing these services (hereinafter: CUSTOMER) engage with the platform for facilitating and managing cleaning service requests. Any exceptions to these Terms must receive explicit approval from RoyalLux Cleaning Services.
The service agreement for cleaning services is directly established between the CUSTOMER and the selected SERVICE PROVIDER as specified in the Terms.
RoyalLux Cleaning Services offers professional cleaning and ironing services directly to CUSTOMERS. These services are designed to ensure high-quality standards for all cleaning and ironing needs. Before placing an order for the first time, the CUSTOMER must register on the RoyalLux Cleaning Services website and accept these Terms and Conditions. Upon successful registration, RoyalLux Cleaning Services provides the CUSTOMER with access credentials via email, thereby establishing a service agreement under these General Terms and Conditions.
The CUSTOMER is responsible for providing accurate and complete details during registration, including their name, address, phone number, email address, and payment details. Any changes to this information during the term of the service agreement must be promptly updated by the CUSTOMER in their account settings.
CUSTOMERS can submit service requests for cleaning and ironing services through the RoyalLux Cleaning Services website, mobile app, telephone, or email, specifying the desired time, location, and type of service required.
Service requests submitted by the CUSTOMER constitute a binding offer to RoyalLux Cleaning Services for the delivery of the specified services. Upon receipt of the request, RoyalLux Cleaning Services will confirm the order once the CUSTOMER’s payment details have been verified. The confirmation will be sent to the CUSTOMER via email, detailing the service request and confirming the booking.
RoyalLux Cleaning Services ensures that all services are carried out by trained and vetted cleaning professionals employed directly by the company. The agreement for the provision of services is based on the service details provided in the booking request, applicable price lists, and these General Terms and Conditions.
Bookings can be made for one-time services or as recurring arrangements, such as weekly or bi-weekly schedules. Recurring bookings must be committed to for a minimum of four services, starting from the date of the first booking and continuing for at least three subsequent services.
All payments for cleaning and ironing services must be made directly to RoyalLux Cleaning Services through a licensed payment processor. Customers are not required to handle cash payments directly with cleaning professionals.
RoyalLux Cleaning Services manages and facilitates all cleaning and ironing service bookings received via its website, mobile application, telephone, or email. While every effort is made to fulfill all bookings, if a booking cannot be accommodated, RoyalLux Cleaning Services will provide the CUSTOMER with the option of a free date change or a refund.
RoyalLux Cleaning Services prioritizes uninterrupted access to its booking system. However, temporary disruptions may occur to allow for maintenance, upgrades, or system enhancements, all aimed at improving the platform's functionality and user experience.
Each CUSTOMER account is securely managed by RoyalLux Cleaning Services, and unique login credentials are provided. These credentials are confidential and must not be shared with third parties. Through the CUSTOMER account, users can access information about their bookings, agreements, and related invoices.
RoyalLux Cleaning Services processes booking changes or cancellations as requested by the CUSTOMER in accordance with the terms outlined in Article 7 of these General Terms and Conditions. Any adjustments or cancellations are promptly communicated to the CUSTOMER.
After completing a cleaning or ironing service, the CUSTOMER will receive an email requesting feedback on their experience. Feedback can include star ratings, badges, and written comments addressing aspects such as service quality, punctuality, and professionalism.
Reviews must be honest, fair, and based on actual experiences. Comments containing offensive, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate content will be removed. CUSTOMER reviews reflect the opinions of the CUSTOMER and do not represent the views of RoyalLux Cleaning Services.
By submitting a review, the CUSTOMER grants RoyalLux Cleaning Services a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, share, or publish the review for marketing or quality improvement purposes.
Attempts to manipulate the review system, such as submitting unjustified multiple reviews, are prohibited and may result in removal or account restrictions.
RoyalLux Cleaning Services reserves the right to suspend or remove service providers who consistently receive low ratings (e.g., 1 or 2 stars) to maintain service quality standards.
RoyalLux Cleaning Services is not responsible for any damages or losses incurred during the performance of the service unless directly caused by its own actions. However, any valid claims will be addressed promptly and professionally.
The RoyalLux Cleaning Services website may include links to third-party websites for informational purposes. RoyalLux Cleaning Services is not responsible for the content or policies of these external websites.
The service agreement takes effect upon the CUSTOMER’s successful registration and remains valid indefinitely. Either party may terminate the agreement at any time by providing written notice. An email to [email protected] is considered sufficient.
If there are any ongoing bookings at the time of termination, these will be handled according to the cancellation and refund policies outlined in the agreement.
RoyalLux Cleaning Services collects, processes, and securely stores CUSTOMER data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. The CUSTOMER’s information is accessible via their account, where updates or corrections can be made as necessary.
By accepting these terms, the CUSTOMER consents to their address and contact information being shared solely for the purpose of facilitating the booked services.
During the active period of a CUSTOMER account, RoyalLux Cleaning Services may contact the CUSTOMER via email, phone, or mail to gather feedback, inform them about updates, or provide promotional offers. CUSTOMERS can opt out of promotional communications at any time.
RoyalLux Cleaning Services may update these Terms and Conditions at its discretion. Changes will be communicated to CUSTOMERS at least two weeks in advance. CUSTOMERS who disagree with the updated terms may terminate the agreement before the new terms take effect.
AGREEMENT FOR CLEANING SERVICES BETWEEN SERVICE PROVIDERS AND USERS
This Agreement is effective on the date the User places an order.
PARTIES:
The Service Provider (Cleaning Professional) and the User
(Collectively referred to as the “Parties”).
DEFINITIONS
“Address” refers to the location where the Cleaning Services outlined in the Booking are to be carried out;
“Agreement” refers to this document along with any attachments or annexures, which RoyalLux Cleaning Services may update and notify to the Parties in advance;
“Booked Services” means the Cleaning Services requested by the User in a Booking;
“Booking” refers to a reservation made by the User on the RoyalLux Cleaning Services website for Cleaning Services to be delivered at a specified time, address, and duration;
“Claim” includes any current or future legal actions, demands, or rights arising from or related to the Cleaning Services, including but not limited to claims for damages, complaints, legal proceedings, or arbitration;
“Cleaning Agreement” refers to the terms governing the arrangement between the Service Provider and the User for Cleaning Services as available on the website;
“Cleaning Fee” refers to the hourly charge for the Booked Services;
“Cleaning Products and Equipment” means the tools and cleaning supplies necessary to perform the Cleaning Services effectively;
“Cleaning Product Fee” refers to the additional cost charged by RoyalLux Cleaning Services for the provision of cleaning supplies by the Service Provider, if applicable;
“Cleaning Services” refers to the services outlined on the RoyalLux Cleaning Services website;
“Confidential Information” refers to:
(a) Information provided, shared, or disclosed by the disclosing party to the receiving party (in any format, including written, electronic, or visual) related to this Agreement;
(b) Information indirectly acquired through this Agreement unless such information:
(i) Is public knowledge without a breach of this Agreement; (ii) Was already known by the receiving party before this Agreement, as supported by records; (iii) Was legally obtained from a third party without confidentiality obligations; (iv) Is independently developed by the receiving party; or (v) Must be disclosed due to legal or regulatory obligations.
“Contract Price” refers to the total payment due from the User minus any commission charged for the Booking;
“User” means any individual or entity who places a Booking for Cleaning Services;
“Duration” refers to the estimated time required by the Service Provider to complete the Booked Services;
“Government Authority” refers to any official, legal, or regulatory body.
AGREEMENT FOR CLEANING SERVICES BETWEEN SERVICE PROVIDERS AND USERS
This Agreement becomes effective on the date the User places an order.
PARTIES:
The Service Provider (Cleaning Professional) and the User
(Collectively referred to as the “Parties”).
DEFINITIONS
“Address” refers to the location where the booked cleaning services will be carried out as stated in the Booking.
“Agreement” refers to this document, including any schedules or annexures, which may be updated by RoyalLux Cleaning Services with prior notification to the Parties.
“Booked Services” refers to the cleaning services requested by the User as part of their Booking.
“Booking” refers to a reservation made by the User on the Website for cleaning services to be performed at a specified time, address, and duration.
“Claim” refers to any and all present and future demands, actions, or rights arising from or in connection with the services, including claims for damages, legal complaints, arbitration, or judgments.
“Cleaning Agreement” refers to the terms governing the arrangement between the Service Provider and the User for providing cleaning services, as detailed on the Website.
“Cleaning Fee” refers to the hourly charge for the booked cleaning services.
“Cleaning Products and Equipment” refers to the tools and supplies necessary to carry out the cleaning services effectively.
“Cleaning Product Fee” refers to the additional charge, if applicable, for providing cleaning products through RoyalLux Cleaning Services.
“Cleaning Services” refers to the services as listed on the RoyalLux Cleaning Services website.
“Confidential Information” means:
(a) Any information shared or disclosed by one Party to another under this Agreement in any format (written, electronic, graphic, etc.);
(b) Information indirectly obtained under this Agreement, unless it:
(i) Becomes public without breaching this Agreement; (ii) Was already known by the receiving Party before the Agreement, as shown in records; (iii) Was lawfully obtained from a third party without confidentiality obligations; (iv) Is independently developed by the receiving Party; or (v) Must be disclosed due to legal or regulatory requirements.
“Contract Price” refers to the total payment amount due from the User, less any commission associated with the booking.
“User” refers to any individual or entity that makes a Booking for cleaning services.
“Duration” refers to the estimated time required by the Service Provider to complete the booked cleaning services.
“Government Authority” refers to any official, legal, or regulatory entity or body.
“RoyalLux Cleaning Services Services” refers to the online platform and associated services for managing contracts, invoices, and administration, provided by the Service Provider.
“Payment Amount” refers to the total fee payable by the User, calculated based on the hours spent performing the booked cleaning services at the Cleaning Fee rate.
“Scheduled Time” refers to the specified date and time when the cleaning services will be carried out, as agreed in the Booking.
“Service Provider” refers to the independent cleaning professional responsible for fulfilling the service request.
“Website” refers to www.royalluxcleaningservices.com and the associated mobile applications provided by RoyalLux Cleaning Services.
STATEMENTS
RoyalLux Cleaning Services (“RoyalLux Cleaning Services”) operates the website www.royalluxcleaningservices.com, where Users can book Cleaning Professionals for various cleaning services.
The Cleaning Professionals are independent contractors registered with RoyalLux Cleaning Services to deliver cleaning services.
RoyalLux Cleaning Services acts solely as a facilitator, enabling contracts between Users and Service Providers. This includes receiving and confirming booking requests, as well as matching Users with the appropriate Service Providers.
Users enter into two separate contractual agreements: the first with RoyalLux Cleaning Services, which governs the User’s access to and use of the Website (“Terms and Conditions for Using RoyalLux Cleaning Services Platform”), and the second with the Service Provider for delivering the cleaning services (“Agreement”).
Through the Website, Users can place orders, which are then visible to Service Providers through the RoyalLux Cleaning Services Professional App. Bookings are allocated on a “first-come, first-served” basis, unless a User has selected a specific Service Provider. In such cases, segmentation rules apply, giving priority to Service Providers with higher ratings or preferences.
The following sections outline the responsibilities and obligations of both Users and Service Providers as part of this Agreement.
